Healing NPC's
Is there any justifiable reason behind having random NPC's casting mark of protection, and healing enemy NPC's?
Ok, I guess I'll start off with a recent experience down in Sorrows Furnace, since that seems to be the most annoying occurance for me. I grabbed some keys (not like that matters, crappy chest drops anyway) and headed into the furnace. Things were going like usual, same old same sorrows furnace stuff. Then I head towards the right where those stairs are, where 2 bosses along with 2 priest of sorrows would be. I get gardock stonesoul, 2 priests of sorrows, brohn stoneheart, and a friendly Dredge NPC (who was enslaved by the summit) that is casting smite hex/remove hex on them, casting strength and honor, watchful spirit, etc.
What is the point of this? Why are these friendly NPC's helping out already annoying to kill groups of stone summit, when they should just stand in a dam corner and offer their stupid quests? Then there's the other area, with that jackass that casts mark of protection and heals on enemies... and he's offering a quest to kill these bosses while screwing you over at the same time?
My suggestion is, if you're going to allow these bastards to heal all the enemies in the area, let me kill them. Yeah, that's right, as soon as they cast a heal or whatever on an enemy unit, BAM, they are enemy targetable/killable. How about them apples Anet? I mean, it's so unbelievably frustrating taking henches down there as it is, and with all the interrupts, I don't need another annoyance that I can't get rid of, screwing things up and aiding the opposing team all the time.
Although I did kill one with scourge healing not too long ago, but that's hard to do. Let me target and kill those annoying little jackasses down there so they don't bother me anymore. Heck, make it like the moa birds in pre-searing or something even. Target, cast spell or attack, dead not-so-friendly NPC. I mean, ya, sure it's a lot more challenging and all at times, but in situations like the one above?
Anyways, what do you guys think of this?

Its been around for a long time, which sucks. I first enountered it at Divinity Coast when you had to go get Cleansed, and the Abbot kept healing the Mergoyals ><
Funny thing is, I don't believe they will fix it.

I always thought the Abbot was running around the fountain to get AWAY from the Mergoyals, but I guess that's not the case. I did it again on a Factions character, and the idiot just kept spamming Heal Area/Orison? on the Mergoyals. o.O
This happens all over Prophecies, but I can't say I've actually seen it happen in Factions. They're getting better at the small things with each chapter!

Get outside Cavalon. Attack bunch of nagas by that fish-ship. Enjoy some Luxon monk healing nagas...
Yes, it is all over the place. I remember bugreporting priest Alkar healing summit bastards and they responded that game works as designed.
I guess the friend/foe/neutral system is fundamentaly screwed and there isnt much they can do about it.
